Volkmar and Stephan launched and developed COVID-19 testing together, helping make reliable medical diagnostics widely accessible during the pandemic. Through this work, they met Miriam, whose strategic clarity and ability to mobilize strong networks made her a key partner from the start. While addressing a global crisis, they also recognized a broader challenge: mental health awareness was growing, but access to clear, objective ways to understand and manage conditions such as ADHD lagged behind.
Drawing on their experience in diagnostics, they founded the company to bring the same scientific rigor and scalable solutions to mental health, enabling earlier detection and better care for everyone.
A mathematician by training with over 25 years of top-management experience, including roles as CIO at DekaBank, Gothaer Versicherung, and the publicly listed Centogene AG. Volkmar has successfully scaled biotech companies to eight-figure valuations and leads MetaAIDiagnostic at the intersection of technology, diagnostics, and regulatory excellence.

A specialist in microbiology and infection epidemiology with more than 30 years of experience in medical diagnostics. As the founder and long-standing director of several laboratories, he has detailed knowledge of the clinical requirements, regulatory hurdles and technical standards of diagnostic procedures. At MetaAIDiagnostic, he is responsible for the medical development and validation of blood tests in his role as CMO.

After more than six years in strategic support for scaling projects, she most recently served as COO at Trilleco, a multi-award-winning green tech start-up.
